Kawakita x International Professional University of Technology in Osaka ,”The Future Dacco Bag”
Kawakita Co., Ltd., the planner, manufacturer and distributor of N/ORN, will be exhibiting at the EXPO 2025 , Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, and REBORN Challenge Osaka City Shinkin Bank Future Lifestyle – Smart Room.
In collaboration with International Professional University of Technology in Osaka, we plan to introduce a prototype of a “baby carrier bag of the near future” that is based on the N/ORN Máni and equipped with cutting-edge sensors ( Smart Force Sensor : Accurate Inc.) and can perform health checks on children, including measuring their weight.
―――What is the “baby carrier bag of the future”?
Specifically, we are currently developing a bag that will allow you to check your child’s health just by holding them in your arms. Simply place your child on the seat to easily measure their weight, and it also has a function that can measure their temperature. Although it is still a prototype, it will be linked to a smartphone app in the future, and can also be used to record your child’s growth and manage their health.

After developing Japan’s first fashionable baby carrier bag, Kawakita next considered: Can we make parenting more fun and easier?
What kind of healthcare can we provide? What kind of features would make users happy? After much discussion, we came up with the idea that it would be nice to have something that allows for easy health checks. In the future, we hope to add more measurement functions, making it more convenient and comfortable, and helping families live healthy lives.
